Who operates Lagos Life?

The terms of use say Lagos Life is operated by Vatar, Nigeria. The privacy policy also names Vatar as the operator. The official game site is lagoslife.app.

Who do reports say built it?

TechCabal, by Muktar Oladunmade on 9 October 2026, calls Shalom Rayhamen co-founder and CEO of Vatar Inc. and says she built Lagos Life. Lagos Metropolitan, by Nkanu Egbe, also calls Shalom Rayhamen the creator. That shared name is the one used here.

TechCabal says she co-founded Vatar Inc. with Owen Rayhamen and Anderson Oriahi, and it gives them product and business titles. Lagos Metropolitan also names Owen Rayhamen and Anderson Oriahi as co-founders, and says their roles have not been publicly described. The names match. The job titles do not have a second report, so this page does not treat the titles as settled.

What funding do two reports agree on?

Both TechCabal and Lagos Metropolitan report that Vatar raised $500,000 from angel investors at a $10 million valuation. TechCabal says that figure comes from a company statement. Both articles name Olugbenga “GB” Agboola, Nathan Nwachuku, Abdulhamid Hassan, and Oo Nwoye among the participants.

Lagos Metropolitan also records the founder saying, on 7 October 2026, that the game was “valued at $1 billion”. That sentence is the founder’s own claim in that report. It is not the $10 million angel-round valuation the two articles both report.

The articles do not agree on one player count, or on a single incorporation date. Those numbers are not repeated here.
